I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 26 years.  I decided to become a massage therapist after my mom suggested that I would be an excellent one.  (I wasn't so sure.)  I attended the "Intro to Massage" at Sister Rosiland Gefre's School of Professional Massage at their Fargo, ND campus.  The very first evening of class, we were seated in a large room with a round table, and we just listened to Sister Rosiland tell her story.  I was so taken with her stories of how we as massage therapists are able to help others, and in turn receive benefits ourselves.  Needless to say I was hooked.  26 years later I still feel the same way as I first did sitting in that classroom years ago.  I love listening to my clients, and feeling their stress and tightness melt away under my fingertips.  I love that I am able to help their bodies release stress, and other ailments, and watch them come out of pain.  Being a massage therapist is truly a gift in itself.

My husband Shawn and I have been married for 25 years, and have made Crookston, MN our home.  Shawn and I together own Wonderful Life Foods, which is a Natural Food Store/Bakery/Deli/Coffee Shop in Downtown Crookston.  I Practice Massage Therapy Full Time and help out at Wonderful Life Foods as needed.  We have been blessed with 2 fantastic daughters, they are 22 and 20.  Now that Shawn and I are "Empty Nesters" we have become "Dog Parents" to our 2 dogs Maggie and Laney.
